Omotola, 2face, Basket Mouth to speak at Nigeria Entertainment Conference 2014

Star actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, music star, 2face Idibia and foremost comedian, "Basket Mouth" are among the main speakers at this year’s Nigeria Entertainment Conference scheduled for April 23 in Lagos.
This is contained in a statement by the convener of the conference, Mr Adekunle Ayeni, made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos.

Adekunle said that the event, which was entering its second year, would hold at the Grand Ball Room of Eko Hotel and Suites Lagos.
"We're back at Eko for the whole day on Wednesday April 23, with even bigger speakers, remarkable panelists and participants from across the country."
He said that other confirmed speakers and panelists include Co-Founder of Jobberman, Ope Awoyemi; showbiz consultant Edi Lawani and Chief Executive Officer of Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), Peace Anyam-Osigwe.
Others are digital marketing expert, Bukola Akingbade; Chairman of NET Editorial Board, Chris Ihidero; award-winning journalist Olumide Iyanda, broadcaster, Olisa Adibua and actress Uche Jombo.
Ayeni said that the theme for this year is, "Creating Pathways to the Future" and would include sessions on Nollywood, social responsibility, information technology, music, media and business.
He said that sub-topics would include "Slaying the Collective Rights Monster" (Music); "Whose Content is it Anyway? (Media); "Using IT for Intervention"(IT); "The Desired Future" (Nollywood).
Others are "Why We should Care" (Social Responsibility) and "Solving the Distribution Problem Once and for all" (Business).
Ayeni said that while attendance to all sessions and exhibitions was free, registration would be compulsory for all participants.
NAN reports that Nigerian Entertainment Conference was founded last year by PR Consultant and Publisher Ayeni Adekunle.
